Going-To-The-Sun Road |

Forty-five minutes driving over a bad gravel road and I arrived at the entrance to Glacier National Park's most famous road. This is considered to be one of the most scenic drives in the country. Because my venture was on a whim I really didn't know what to expect, which made it more fun for the surprises I found around every turn. |

This is a portion of McDonald Creek (which feeds into Lake McDonald). The water really is a blue color due to the high mineral content of glacial runoff. |

A boardwalk allows visitors to view the rapidly flowing current and the interesting ways it has carved into the rocks without damaging the surrounding area. |
