Somerton is an historical town in its own right, and has a few of its own standout landmarks. Saint Michael's and All Angels Church (pictured below) was built in the 1200's, and looks a bit like a medieval castle. (I didn't get a look inside, but there are some pictures of the interior on the Somerton town home site).
With its narrow streets, the town center appears to have changed little from its earlier days of horses and carriages -- with, of course, asphalt having replaced cobblestones and computer stores occupying the shop fronts.
