I'm not really much of a fan of touring cities (at least on this trip)... the pace is different than what you become used to on the highway. ...Too much traffic, stop lights, stop signs, pedestrians to watch out for. But I figured I'd get some shots of San Francisco since it was the farthest point of the trip. Rain was in the forecast for this day, so I only managed to do the Coit Tower climb before before it got too rainy.



Coit Tower is located on a steep hill that you can either drive up or walk. Landscaping around the public walkway creates a sense of walking through a park.



There's a kind of European charm to this neighborhood. Residents have been very creative with the gardens and landscaping, so even though the houses are packed together on the hill, it doesn't feel "crowded".
