Here, natural forces sculpted a terrain of otherworldly beauty. Years of wind and water erosion exposed layers of sediment composed of different minerals, helping create a multicolored effect most apparent after a rain. I'd imagine the most interesting scenes are in the winter months when the sun is lower and the sky is cloudier.

It is also incredibly peaceful -- at least during the early morning hours.
