This area is known as the Fiery Furnace, with a maze of rocks so complicated that hikers in the past often got lost. Now hikers must purchase a permit and go escorted by a ranger.
(There's also a band called the Fiery Furnaces who happen to be on the playlist. I wonder if they were ever here... check 'em out.)

Skyline Arch. This one was easy to get to from the road.

A couple scenes along the Delicate Arch Trail. (Click on the link to get a "virtual tour" of the actual trail!) To get the best view of the park's most famous landmork, you need to get out of the car and hike on foot 1.5 miles (one way), It's mostly all uphill with no shade on the way there, so it's important to carry water.

The final portions of the trail are narrow, no guard rails and cut into steep cliffs, so it's not for those who have a fear of heights or are unsure of foot. It's an arduous hike all in all, but well worth it.

Delicate Arch, one of the most famous landmarks of the park. A photographer there told me that the "serious" photographers prefer the sunset view, so, despite being tired from the hike I decided to return later in the day.
